For the research project, cooperating secondary schools with inclusive classes in grades 5 to 8 from North Rhine-Westphalia are being sought for the period from mid-2023, which also teach students with refugee experiences.

School teachers would need to be willing to support the research team in collecting child-related data in the areas of trauma-specific behavioral problems in the classroom, cognitive emotion regulation, and classroom climate, as well as to provide teachers from their colleges for free in-service training in educational trauma therapy for teachers who would then themselves support and encourage inclusive groups of children with and without a refugee background according to this approach.
